During the first quarter of 2022, the top five air travel apps in Ireland, spanning both iOS and Android platforms, showed diverse performance trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into weekly downloads, revenue, and active users.

Ryanair saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 3.3K in late December and peaking at 7.9K in mid-March. Weekly active users also followed an upward trajectory, rising from 17.6K to over 25K by the end of March. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations, averaging around $12 to $15 weekly.

Aer Lingus experienced growth in downloads, beginning at 2.3K and reaching 4.3K by the end of the quarter. Active users increased from 4.8K to 7.5K during the same period. However, the app did not generate any revenue throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker demonstrated a significant spike in downloads in late February, hitting 10.8K, followed by a more stable download rate around 2.3K towards the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 21.8K in late February before stabilizing around 11K by the end of March. Revenue showed a notable increase, reaching $3.3K in mid-March.

Dublin Airport (Official) saw a dramatic rise in downloads, soaring from 429 in late December to an impressive 9.2K by the end of March. Unfortunately, there was no revenue data available for this app.

British Airways maintained a relatively consistent download rate, with numbers hovering around 500 to 700 weekly. Active users showed a slight increase from 2.9K to 3.6K during the quarter. Similar to Aer Lingus, British Airways did not generate any revenue during this period.
